Person should be strong in .. JCL, PROC, Control-M, Cobol. Should be aware of db2/IMS db(min work exp). Good communication skills(Imp). And should be ready to work in shift(Morning &Afternoon shift, but not night shift).
we are looking more into control-m, JCL and production support.....and bit of maintenance activities

Center for a month or two where they go on business visas for project discussion, requirement gathering, knowledge transfer etc. and they get the project back here to the Bangalore center and it is executed end to end from this center.
